United Methodist Men
ImageThe membership of United methodist Men is made up of every adult male member of Hayes Barton UMC.  Each one is invited to participate in our programs and projects.

The purpose of the Methodist Men is to:

  • enjoy good fellowship
  • deepen our spiritual lives
  • strengthen and enhance the role of men in the church
  • challenge, inspire and motivate service in the name of Jesus Christ.

The Hayes Barton United Methodist Men are organized around a dinner meeting held on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM.  Dinner is followed by a brief business meeting and then a program.  Program topics vary depending on the interests of the group and  important issues facing our congregation and denomination.

We also undertake a number of projects.  Some are short term, like taking inventory of church property.  Others are longer term, such as helping build our church's Habitat for Humanity home.  Others are longer term still, like the endowment of the Hayes Barton United Methodist Men scholarship fund.

We believe you will find United Methodist Men a meaningful and rewarding way to enter the life of this church.
