Christian Education
The mission of the Education Ministries Team is to provide opportunities for all church members of all ages to grow in heart, mind, body, and spirit enabling transformation by God’s grace into disciples of Christ.

Through such educational opportunities, as persons grow, they will passionately put God first, faithfully live new lives in Christ, boldly share the Gospel, and eagerly serve others as disciples of Christ. Education Ministries is committed to ensuring that all members are growing spiritually through intentional educational and spiritual formation opportunities.

Detailed Description:
Education Ministries encompasses three Action Teams, Adult, Youth, and Children, with numerous programs and activities following under each. A few examples include:
  • Children: Sunday Morning Sunday School, VBS (Vacation Bible School)
  • Youth: Sunday Morning Sunday School, ongoing organized Bible Study, UMYF (United Methodist Youth Fellowship), Confirmation Class
  • Adult: Sunday Morning Sunday School, ongoing organized Bible Studies
  • Special Ministries: Starnes Class
Volunteers:
Volunteers are essential to Christian Education! The success of our various ministries is dependent on strong volunteers. Volunteers should be engaged in their own faith journey growing as disciples that they are thereby eager to share the love and grace of God with others encouraging others to develop their own relationship with God. If you feel that your spiritual gifts lie within the realm of Christian Education, we’d like to hear from you.
