The Resurrection | The Resurrection |
![]() Given in memory of George D. Richardson by his family Here Christ is shown with an upraised hand, signifying that he is alive forever more. Piercing the heavens is the hand of God whose power has raised Jesus from the dead. Christ holds a flowing white banner as he rises from the grave, signifying his victory over death. At the open tomb are the figures representing the guards who slept and the soldiers seized with terror. Symbols in the lower window show the nails and the golden crown of the resurrected Christ superimposed on the crown of thorns. The three crosses of Golgotha are in the lower right corner. |
