There are many opportunities for Bible study and spiritual formation at HBUMC. Please pray about participating in one or more of these studies as a way of growing in grace as you “live as a disciple of Christ.”

Please watch for announcements in the newsletter and bulletin as studies will be offered at various times throughout the year. Please note that registration is required for most studies with the exception of the Pastor’s Lectionary Bible Study.

 



Thursday Morning Ladies Bible Study
6-8 weeks focused around a specified book. See church newsletter / bulletin for details of when available.
 
Pastors Lectionary Bible Study
This year-round study meets every Thursday, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM in the church Fellowship Hall. No sign-up is required to study the lectionary text for the following Sunday with Reverend Rick Clayton.
 
Invitation to the New Testament
9-week study modeled after the 30+ week Disciples studies.
 
Invitation to the Old Testament
9-week study modeled after the 30+ week Disciples studies.
 
Youth Bible Study

During the school year, two high school Bible Studies meet, one on Wednesdays at 7:00 AM at Cafe Carolina at Cameron Village and the other on Thursdays at 6:30 PM in Room 311. Pizza dinner is provided.

During the school year, the Middle School Bible Study meets on Wednesdays from 5:30 - 6:30 in Room 311. Pizza dinner is provided.
