Image As the Director of Music and Worship Arts, I oversee all music ensembles including adult choirs, children and youth choirs, handbell ensembles, LightHouse Band.  Also oversee the inclusion of other art forms (such as drama and visual arts) into the church's worship, education and fellowship lives.  I've been employed by HBUMC since 1996.

You may not know, but I'm a recovering meteorologist. Seriously, I went to school for more years than I'd like to count to pursue a career as a professor of meteorology, but I guess God had a different plan than I. For more on my weather rantings visit my weather blog.

Defining Moment
Life, whether the spiritual or secular portion, is a continuum of small defining moments that we try to learn and grow from. Along the way, we are hopefully privileged to experience those "mountain top" defining moments that leave us awe-struck, and help sustain us along our path. A couple of such pinnacle moments for me were my Walk to Emmaus and a pair of mission trips to Costa Rica.
