There is good news in the unruly wilderness, even in that dry and often undesirable wilderness of our souls. There is good news in our overgrown churches, and in the ones with room to flourish. New life in the Spirit is so abundant, so accessible and so diverse that we never have to reach that point of being cut away. We plant the scary seed and let faith grow where it will, however wild and unruly it may be.
