Faith Justified
Written by Rick Clayton
Sunday, 15 June 2008

The consequence of living life with anything less than a loving relationship with God is an aching unhappiness that simply will not go away, the gnawing feeling that something’s missing, something as essential to the fulfillment of human life as sun, rain and soil are to the blossoming of a plant. The place reserved for God is vacant. Empty. So we try to fill the empty place - but with all the wrong things. There is no amount of anything that “can satisfy the hungry heart” or provide “shelter from the stormy blast” like a life that is “rooted and grounded in love.”
