Crumbs from Your Table
Written by Rick Clayton
Sunday, 17 August 2008

Jesus our Savior, the very essence of love and compassion, is challenged to greater love and deeper compassion by a foreigner. Jesus makes a comment about the “great faith” of this woman, but it is abundantly clear that it is her wit, not her faith, that has saved her daughter and made such an impression on Jesus. By the grace of God, may we be willing to be wrong, willing to be uncomfortable and may we be always ready to grow and to change.
