These have been incredible days of distraction. Many different influences are telling us what is right and which way is the best way to live. Sometimes we get distracted and cannot remember what it is we are supposed to be doing. Psalm 1 reminds us that we are to follow the teaching of the Lord. We are to follow the path God has led us down before. When life begins to toss us to and fro and we feel that we might be uprooted and blown about in the wind, we will be able to stand firm because our roots are planted by the streams of the water of life.
