Scripture instructs us to choose life so that we and our descendants might live. We choose life by loving God, by obeying God, and by holding fast to God. In other words, when we place God at the center of our lives, we will experience the fullness of life that comes to us through Jesus, the one who said, "I have come that you may have life, and have it abundantly." When we focus God's light and love upon our family legacy, both blessings and struggles are revealed and lifted up to God. We give thanks for the blessings that appear in our family generations. We ask Jesus to bring healing and wholeness into those areas of physical illness, spiritual dis-ease, and relational difficulties that keep repeating from generation to generation. We do this so that we and our descendants might have fullness of life.
