I am responsible for identifing those who are visiting our church and welcome them, coordinate New Member classes and functions, work on getting new members involved in the church by identifying their volunteer interests, and I am also the Staff Liaison for the Evangelism Committee.  I've been a part of HBUMC for 12 years and on staff for 8 in various part-time roles.  I have enjoyed all my roles here at HBUMC, preschool parent, Sunday School Teacher, Special Events coordinator, Body Builder, etc.  I love talking to people getting to know them and their interests and like finding them a connection here at church.

I am married to a wonderfully supportive husband, William and have one
son Will.  I love my family time, watching ACC basketball, playing tennis, reading and volunteering at my son’s school. I feel very honored to be able to serve my church in this capacity.   

Defining Moment
Like many steps in a journey, my life is made up of many defining moments. There were many in my childhood, marriage to my husband, the birth of our child, the death of my father. What stands out in all of those moments is God knew what I needed and when I needed it.
