In order to be witnesses to the resurrection, we’ve got to walk through the valley of the shadow of death. Despite our questions of doubt, we go on believing, don’t we? We struggle to roll the gravestones away from the tombs of the long-dead despite the stench of decay. For we are the church. We know that when Christ commands, new life comes forth – not just someday, but even now.
