The Gospel of Jesus is so true, it cries out to be lived – by those of us who in trembling faith have believed what we have heard. Peter looks us square in the face with that cool, unblinking realism of his, and says: It’s time you did something about this, you fancy talker. For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you should follow in his footsteps.
