Pastor Rick explains our new ways of worshiping together beginning this Pentecost Sunday, including moving our 11am service to the Sanctuary. The 9am outdoor worship service will continue, and we will now stream the 11am service live via hbumc.org and on our Facebook page! We will no longer send pre-recorded worship services Saturdays at noon.

We're excited to offer a variety of ways to worship for everyone in our congregation while prioritizing safety and Christian love for our neighbors. Sign up to attend worship and read more about our plans at hbumc.org/signups.

There are also some upcoming events you'll want to mark on your calendar!

Wednesday, June 2, 5:30-7pm, church-wide picnic on the patio! Bring a chair or blanket, a picnic dinner, and your friends and family for music by our gifted musicians and Hayes Barton's favorite Pelican's SnoBalls. No signup required.

Saturday, June 5, 2-5pm, reception on the parsonage porch for Pastor Rick and Pastor Adam and their families. Sign up for a time to personally wish our pastors well at hbumc.org/signups. A memory card was mailed to you; you may mail the card back or bring it with you to the event. Extra cards are at the front desk and may be left with Cheryl Fortineau at church.

Wednesday, June 9th, 7-7:45pm, prayer service for our outgoing and incoming pastors in the Sanctuary. Please sign up to attend this special time of prayer and meditation at hbumc.org/signups.

A love offering for Pastor Rick and a love offering for Pastor Adam are both being collected at this time if you feel so led. Please indicate the pastor your gift is intended for in the memo line of your check or via the appropriate drop down menu via hbumc.org/give.
