Welcome to the Children's Page of Hayes Barton UMC! We offer childcare for infants up to the age of four on Sunday mornings from 8:15am to 12pm. Visitors are always welcome to join us! Our children's ministry area is located on the first floor near the Reid Street entrance. We use KidCheck, a secure sign-in system for all children for safety and peace of mind. You can find sign-in information in the lower portion of this page. Rest assured that your child is in safe and capable hands. Our nursery staff are experienced childcare providers, CPR certified, and have undergone background checks.

Sunday School starts at 10:00am and ends at 10:50am. Children between the ages of 3 years and 5th grade meet in their respective classrooms with parent-teacher volunteers, and we teach using the Whirl curriculum. If you're interested in volunteering, you can sign up below.
Our youngest disciples, those from birth to crawling age, stay in the nursery and crawler rooms. Two-year-old toddlers stay in the toddlers' room for a story and a small activity.

Dropping off your child during Sunday worship or during your Adult Sunday School class? Then you need to sign up for KidCheck! Download the KidCheck app below and plug-in your and your kids’ information. KidCheck is a secure sign-in system that makes dropping off your child easy and fast. Once you arrive at the church parking lot, you notify the app and your kids’ name tag is printed and ready as soon as you walk inside. It's ok if you forget! You can use the computer at the front desk to sign in once you arrive.
