Stewardship of God’s Earth: Stewardship and Composting

When we participate in the composting program here at HBUMC, we are giving back to God? We are blessed with the resources we need to grow our food and feed animals who also provide for us, but our resources aren’t unlimited. Composting our food waste and compostable dinnerware is a form of stewardship in which we all give back to God.  Compost enriches our soil and produces more nutritious food, not only for us, but for all God’s people!Just as sharing our time, talents, and financial gifts are all ways to give back to God, composting and caring for the earth are also ways to be good stewards of the gifts of the earth from our Creator!
