At Hayes Barton United Methodist Church, we believe our relationship with God is continually renewed through our relationship with others. Please take a moment to leave your contact information so we can get to know you better as we share faith and life together. To learn more about membership and the ways we worship, grow, and serve as a community of faith, contact Director of Lay Involvement Amy Piland and visit our Connect page.
What to Expect When You Visit
On Sunday mornings, we celebrate our lives in Christ by worshiping God through both traditional and contemporary worship services. Both styles of worship are rooted in Scripture and provide the opportunity to experience the living God through a variety of spoken and musical expressions.
Our Traditional services at 8:30 & 11:00am follow a more formal Methodist format and are celebrated in our Sanctuary. We receive Communion each week during the 8:30 service and are led by our Chancel Choir at 11:00am.
For those interested in a more relaxed, contemporary worship experience, our LightHouse worship service begins at 9:00am in Casper Holroyd Hall and is led by our Worship Band and vocalists.
Sunday School classes for all ages and stages meet each week between services. During the summer, we offer joint Sunday School from 10:00 to 10:45am in Holroyd Hall, with nursery care provided for our youngest disciples.
Two parking lots are located along Fairview Road at the Stone Street and Reid Street intersections. On Sunday mornings, the Stone Street lot is reserved for persons needing assistance and elderly persons.
Should you have questions during the week or would like to learn more about becoming a member, Amy Piland, Director of Membership and Lay Involvement, looks forward to your inquiry.
